Owner and Head Coach

PROFESSOR DAVID SUTTON

With over 20 years of experience in martial arts, Professor David Sutton is the head coach and driving force behind our gym’s culture, philosophy, and vision. A Brazilian JiuJitsu black belt under Carlson Gracie Jr. and a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, Professor David has spent decades studying not only the technical side of martial arts, but also the discipline, mindset, and character it builds in people of all ages.

His approach to coaching goes far beyond teaching techniques. Professor David has built the gym around the belief that martial arts should develop confidence, resilience, humility, leadership, and self-control both on and off the mats. Whether working with beginners, competitors, children, or professional fighters, his focus is always on helping each student grow at their own pace while being challenged to become stronger mentally, physically, and emotionally.

Known for his leadership, technical knowledge, and genuine investment in his students, Professor David has created a family-oriented training environment where hard work, respect, and consistency are the foundation of everything we do. His passion for martial arts continues to inspire our team, and his vision shapes the atmosphere and values that define our academy every day.
